Lots of Tears

It seems that Emily and I have grown a little closer since I've been off. I don't think it's anything special about me, she just seems to grow very attached to anyone who is around a lot. This has been fun but also a little problematic. It seems that Emily no longer wants to go to nursery school. She drags her feet in the morning, cries and says she doesn't want to go. Today it was particularly bad. It took us half an hour and many tear to get out the door. There were even more tears along the way and still more tears when we arrived. I managed to get her into the building but she would not let me leave. I hung out with her for about twenty minutes and I thought she was comfortable enough that I could leave. When I tried to leave she broke out in tears again. I ended up staying for about an hour and the wonderful teacher was able to distract her long enough for me to sneak away. I'm not sure why she has been so upset but she sure does enjoy herself when she's there.
