Sarah left me alone with Clara today, although not entirely on purpose. It was our family's day to provide a duty parent at the nursery school. Originally the idea was for me to do it. Unfortunately, the police check I did a couple of weeks ago so that I could volunteer came back inconclusive. In order to get a passing grade I need to get finger printed and to be run through the RCMP database, which takes some time.
Although I was unable to go to nursery school with Emily, I did get to spend the morning with Clara. She spent all of it asleep which meant I was able to get my taxes done.
We also had a great visit with a great friend today. Emily has grown quite fond of him and loves it when he comes over. A great day.
