An Unexpectedly Busy Day
The day was much busier than anticipated. Sarah went into the basement this morning to discover water on the floor. It turns out one of the supply pipes for our water had sprung a leak. I spent much of the day sorting it out while Sarah entertained (or perhaps was entertained by) the children.

sounds like you need a more extensive basement monitoring system. Perhaps Liam can be enlisted to do a 3 times a day sweep of the basement looking for water, sewage, mice and other assorted indicators of potential damage... A Liam Early Warning System
