A couple of days later we had the opportunity to visit the fire station and go to the splash-pad for lunch. Liam enjoyed checking out the fire trucks and all of their equipment. Needless to say he had a great time at the splash-pad.

Busy Week
We had a great week. We loaded the kids into the bike trailer and biked down to the locks. Liam was keen to see some boats going through the locks. Both kids enjoyed the ride. We had a snack (Emily tried some watermelon) and did some exploring. We watched some fish, saw a frog, a crayfish and a huge water beetle. Unfortunately, we didn't see any boats. Ever since Liam has been asking to go to the locks to see some boats.
