The snow has been great. We haven't gone out as a family yet to enjoy it though. Liam and I went out one day and skied about 30m once. We really hadn't been out much since then. I've taken it upon myself to go out skiing or snowshoeing when the kids are asleep. This means early in the morning or late at night. I've been lucky up until tonight. We've had a bright moon all week. Unfortunately, the moon doesn't rise tonight until 10:27. That's a bit late for me. Oh well.
I did have the chance to strap on the snowshoes this afternoon while Liam rode in on my back. We made it as far as the back of the property when Liam told me that he was getting cold. We turned around and headed back. As it turns out that was probably enough snowshoeing for me. It's tough slogging through deep snow with an additional 35+ pounds on your back.
