More Winter Fun

Every time it snows Liam wants to go out and build a snow fort, or improve on the fort that he already has. So far this winter that has meant scrapping a good chunk of the yard to get enough snow. After Friday's dump we didn't have to go far for snow. On Saturday we probably doubled the height of the walls. Sunday we decided it was time for an addition. We added a quinzhee which was accessible from inside the fort. Liam had a lot of fun, as did I. It was a beautiful weekend to be outside. Emily, on the other hand, was not that impressed. The three of us went outside while Sarah zipped into the grocery store. I would say that Emily spent a good 60-70% of the time either crying or whining. I hope it's because she wanted Sarah and not that she didn't like being outside.

We started a new round of swimming lessons this week. Liam had no troubles going into the pool with his instructor by himself this time. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he has the same instructor as last time.
