We've had a busy month of December. Our basement flooded, leaving about 4 inches of water in our entire basement. The flooding was not all that bad. We didn't lose much other than the flooring and some drywall. The big downer was that the furnace was damaged. We were without heat for an entire week. Thank goodness for the wood stove.
We don't have much snow but Liam is super excited to play in what we do have. During the first two days of the holidays, in a 24 hour period we spent 8 hours outside. He was very tired for about three days afterwards. Emily loves going outside. She's often indicating that she wants her coat. Once she's outside I think she gets a little bored. She doesn't get around all that well when she's all bundled up.
This afternoon we had an enjoyable time at one of the local conservation areas.
