We did in fact get our swine flu vaccinations today. We went prepared for a long wait. We brought a ton of food some DVDs and the laptop, some toys and a book. It turns out that we didn't really need that stuff. We only waited for an hour. There was a woman at the clinic with her child from Ottawa. She decided that rather than waiting for five hours in Ottawa, she would drive for two hours and wait for an hour in our area. The boy's grandmother lives in the area so the visit wasn't just for a shot. Liam was crying before the needle went in. Later we told him what a good job he did. He told us that he didn't do a good job because he cried.
Here's a picture of Emily in her new to her bath hammock. It keeps her head out of the water...mostly. Sarah found someone online that was giving it away. It turns out that I had worked with the woman giving it away on a project last year.

Can Emily be our THS Swim team Captain this year??? She probably can swim better than anyone on our swim team and dive better than former great, Jeff Gifkins!Sorry I haven't been watching the blog this week but I will from now on that things are slowing down..Dunc
we should have done that too! Becca got her vaccination yesterday and it was a 6 hour ordeal from start to finish. sigh.
Six hours is a long time. I don't know how you did it.
