A New Beginning

The blog is back! We had a wonderful baby girl yesterday. She was born on Oct. 1 at 8:29 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz. Shortly after her birth we decided to name her Emily Quinn. Both she and Mom have been doing great.

Here's one of the many shots from yesterday. It's hard work coming into the world for the first time. As a result, Emily was very tired.


After lots of asking at the hospital to be discharged, we were finally released at 5:00 this evening. There really wasn't much point in us staying. Both Emily and Mom were doing great. When Mom walked in the door at home the first thing that Liam asked was "Where's the baby?". He's going to be a great big brother.
