What a Difference a Day Makes

We went to visit the health nurse to have Liam weighed today. He clocked in at a whopping 10 lbs 14 oz. We figure if he continues to gain at the same rate, he'll be 60 lbs overweight by the time he's 5. Hopefully by the time the 2024 Olympics roll around sumo wrestling will be a sanctioned sport.

We talked with the nurse a great deal about his 'fussiness' over the past week. I say fussiness, but I think that most people would call it colic. In any case the nurse gave us a few strategies to help Liam out. As a result Liam seems to want to eat less, he's sleeping more regularly and he doesn't require nearly as much walking. So much for the new carpet. Oh well the additional sleep will benefit mom and dad.
