Little Bruiser

Emily got into a fight with the slide yesterday. We're not sure how (and she's not really telling us how) but somehow she managed to fall of the slide yesterday. Thankfully didn't really do any more damage than bumping her face into the play structure. She has a bit of a scrape on her face and a nice looking black eye.

Liam seems to be coming along with his reading. A few weeks ago I discovered a set of books that he could read without getting too discouraged. We've been working on some of them and he is certainly making progress. While I was at the library today I picked up a few more of the books for him. He was curious to see which books they were and chose one to read. When we were done reading stories tonight both Liam and Emily asked if we could read more. I said that I was finished reading but if Liam wanted to read another he was welcome to. Usually when I make this offer we end up going to bed. Tonight Liam wanted to read a second book. I was very pleased. He did a great job reading both books tonight. The downside to this set of books is that we've read just about everyone the library has. I think by next week we will have covered them all. Hopefully he doesn't mind reading them again.
