Mother's Day

We had a great mother's day. We packed up the kids and some lunch and headed to Presqu'ile Provincial Park despite the frigid temperatures and reports of mixed precipitation across the province. We had a great time. We had lunch in the picnic shelter and thank goodness for the shelter. Without it we likely would still be frozen solid at one of the picnic tables. The kids tried biking on the bike path along the water but it was far too windy. We headed for a more sheltered location and biked for a bit. Next up was a hike. We had a great time hiking a small portion of the Newcastle trail. We saw some interesting sites and Liam and Emily showed some interest in what they saw. Hooray.
