Fishing

We stopped by a yard sale last night and picked up a fishing rod for little people to use at the cottage. Emily decided to adopt the rod as her own. She wouldn't put it down last night. Luckily we were able to convince her that she didn't need it in her bed.

I told the kids last night that I would take them fishing after school today. Sarah said that's what they talked about most of the day.

It was a little nerve racking dealing with two kids near the water, fishing rods flailing, hooks and bobbers flying around, getting worms on hooks, fish on hooks and fishing rods (that sink) dropped in the drink. We all had a great time and, seriously, I can't wait to do it again.
