Mobile Posting

We've had quite a change in our routines over the past few days. The kids were very excited to be home to play with their toys. I can't count the number of times every toy in the house was strewn about the house. I hope that once the novelty of the toys wears off things would settle down a bit, but I'm not too hopeful. We've decided to designate the family room as the play room. Hopefully this will help keep some of the mess contained but again I'm not convinced it will work.

Yesterday Sarah spent her first day home alone with the kids in a long time. The day was much longer than it should have been. I went to Bellevilleafter work to sort out our technology requirements. As it turns out it takes a long time to buy a smartphone. Yes I finally caved in and bought a cellphone. So much for my goal of being the last person on the planet to get one. I haven't used the phone part yet but l'm loving the computing part.

Much to my surprise we have decent coverage at home. Once that was confirmed we could complete phase two of the plan. We headed back to Belleville this morning, stopped at the park then went shopping. We bought a 3G iPad. Now we have decent highspeed access at home or on the road or both at the same time. It's good to be able to surf at a reasonable speed again. This posting was sent from the phone. Hopefully I'll have the iPad set up later today.

Here's a picture at the park taken from the phone. Hopefully it posts reasonably well.
