Chubbier Cheeks

It's been great being home this week. I love spending time with the family. I had originally planned to do a bunch of work around the house this week, but it's just way too fun to play with Liam and Emily.

Liam is starting to get excited about Christmas. He loves seeing people (once he gets over being shy). We went to see Dunc and Cathy last night. Was Liam ever excited. Today we had a visit from Grandpa and Catherine. Again, Liam was a little shy at first but once he was comfortable he was completely wound up. The nice thing about all of the visits and visitors is that Liam is really getting worn out. This makes for an easy nap time and bedtime routines.

Emily has no clue about Christmas, obviously. She continues to become more aware of her surroundings and is laughing and smiling more. We took her swimming the other day. I was impressed with how well she floated. Sarah reminded me that babies bodies consist mostly of fat. How could she not float?
