Liam hasn't had watermelon, which is easily his favorite food, for a couple of weeks. Boy was he excited to have some tonight.

Liam is starting to feel a little more comfortable in the motor boat. Tonight after dinner we went (by boat) to visit the Brown's for pie. Liam had a great time meeting all kinds of new people, including two little people (Tom and Evy). Once again Liam didn't get to bed until after 9.

July 22:
Liam still loves playing on the beach. He much prefers being on land than in the water. Here he is checking to see if there is any water left in the bucket.
As you might imagine a baby's sleep schedule can easily be disrupted in a new environment. That has certainly been true of Liam at the cottage. There seem to be many days when he has one na
p instead of two (the odd day with no naps. Yikes!!). There are times when he doesn't fall asleep until after 9 p.m. Sure these things also happen at home once in a while, but they seem to be the norm here rather than the rule. This picture is one of Liam at about 8:30. Nana and Grandpa always go out to wave to the tour boat when it goes by (I think that they're secretly on the tours payroll). Liam should normally be asleep, but he wasn't so we took him out to wave to the tourists. Unfortunately, the boat didn't show up. as you can see Liam is wide awake.

July 24:
Sometimes there's just far too much to do at the cottage and the excitement is just overwhelming. When that happens, it's time for a little rest.

July 23:
We took Liam sailing today. He had a great time. There were lots of things for him to play with. In fact, he was allowed to play with everything provided that he didn't throw anything overboard. Hopefully we'll have a chance to get out again.
