Halloween

I keep meaning to write a summary of the summer but haven't found the time. As a result I haven't posted any photos since.

We had a fun Halloween. Liam made a map of all the houses he wanted to go to. The map consisted of our house, our neighbours' houses and some friends' houses. We drove into town and parked at the school since two of the houses were next to the school. As we started walking to the third house I suggested we stop at some of the houses along the way. Liam was insistent that those houses we not on the map and not part of the plan. As we walked past most of the houses along the main street I was worried that we weren't trick or treating properly. I kept asking if the kids wanted to stop at the houses we were passing and would hear thing like "We're not stopping at random houses". It turns out it was a great way to trick or treat. We did lots of walking and collected very little candy. Sounds like my kind of Halloween.
