Bath Shots

Over the course of the past couple of days Liam has made some great progress. He has been so close to being able to sit up reliably on his own, but we have been a little nervous about him toppling over. He's very good at sitting there and he can catch himself and adjust if he starts to fall. However, if he gets distracted he tends to fall over almost in slow motion. I think today he was able to master the task of sitting on his own, distractions and all. In addition to sitting, today he started pulling himself up from a seated position with very little help from either of us. I feel that he's just entered the warp speed of baby development. I get the sense that from here on in everything will be a blur. Let the games begin.

Tonight we took some pictures in the bath. I couldn't decide which picture to post so I'm posting two of them. In the first one, Liam has an expression that says 'Hey you can't take my picture. I'm taking a bath'. In the second one I think Liam's thinking 'Hey what's that down there'.
