A Sick Family

Sarah and Liam are definitely sick. Sarah was hit pretty hard with her cold. So much so that she apologized for calling me a wimp last week. I really feel sorry for her. I couldn't imagine trying to look after a baby feeling the way that I was last week. To top it all off, she said that Liam hardly slept all day and that he was pretty cranky (no doubt a result of his cold). Liam slept a bit when I got home, but then was awake for a couple of hours. While he was awake he seemed to be in a pretty good mood. He wasn't laughing, but he sure did a lot of smiling. I can't get over how much smiling he does. I can't help but think about what a better world we could live in if everyone smiled as often as Liam does. I'm guessing that this is probably true of most babies. If you're reading this, try smiling a little more today. I guarantee you'll have a better day.
