Frightening

Sarah took Liam in to get weighed today. He weighed in at 14 lbs 11 oz. Apparently he's gaining weight at a much quicker rate than the "chart" indicates (I think I see a good Calculus question in here. I'm such a nerd!). But the charts that they use were designed using bottle-fed babies
in the US. Breastfed babies tend to gain more weight early on than bottle fed babies. It's weird how for all these years nurses have been trying to get breastfed babies to model bottle-fed babies (good stats question in here). I'm glad they're finally starting to realize that things should be the other way around. The World Health Organization has created a chart for weight gain of breastfed babies. It's not used much in North America due to the fact that it's metric. North Americans are messed up!!
